Privacy
What data this site and its programs collect, what for, and how to avoid it if you prefer not to leave a trace. This is not a contract or a legal opinion — it is a description of what the code actually does, verifiable by reading it.
Who writes this
clever.cat is the site of CleverCat SpA, in Chile.
The only thing this site stores in your browser
If you prefer light or dark mode, that preference is saved in your own browser (in what is called localStorage), it never leaves your device, and no server receives it. It is cleared on its own if you clear the data of this site from your browser settings.
The typeface does not come from outside
Until September 20, 2026 this site loaded the Outfit typeface from Google's servers, which connected your browser to Google on every page. Not anymore: the typeface is served directly from clever.cat, with no connection to any third party to display the text.
What any web server records
Like any site on the internet, the hosting of clever.cat automatically keeps basic technical data about each visit — IP address, browser, date and time. It is the standard log of any server, not something this site adds on purpose, and it is not cross-referenced with anything else.
What this site does not do
It has no forms. It does not ask for your email. It does not use its own cookies. It does not create user accounts. It does not sell or share data with anyone — today it collects no data beyond what is described above.
Coming soon
This site will later add the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4, to measure how well advertising works. They are not installed yet. When they are installed, they will set their own cookies and will share visit data with Meta and with Google — this page is updated that same day, before they start working.
How to avoid it
Any browser lets you block third-party cookies from its privacy settings. No feature of this site stops working if you block them.
CleverCat's programs
Everything above is about this site. CleverCat's programs are a different matter: only the minimum registration data is collected.
